Tina joined the Royal Oaks Manor team as the Administrator of Health Services in 1992. A year later, she took on additional duties as Executive Director. Each and every day, Tina brings true dedication and passion to her work. She has a Bachelor's degree in sociology and holds a Nursing Home Administrator license and Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE) certification. Tina and her husband have one son and two adorable grandchildren.
Melody oversees assisted living and skilled nursing at Bradbury Oaks on the Royal Oaks Manor campus. She has a Bachelor's degree in sociology from California State University-Los Angeles and an Associate's degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University. Prior to completing her Nursing Home Administrator license, she worked as a physical therapy assistant in a variety of settings, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Melody married her high school sweetheart in 2002, and they enjoy cycling and making wine together.
Arlene is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. In 2000, she joined Royal Oaks Manor as our Director of Nursing. Arlene takes pride in giving each and every resident access to quality health care services right here on the Royal Oaks campus. She supervises a staff of talented and dedicated nursing professionals who all work toward providing a superb quality of life for our residents. Arlene's home life is just as fulfilling with four daughters and two sons.
Joining Royal Oaks Manor in 1994, Micaella helps to maintain the community's high standards for healh care as Assitant Director of Nursing Services. She is a certified CPR instructor, Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE) administrator and wound care nurse. Her numerous years of experience and heartfelt care for residents ensure that everyone is in good hands. Micaella has been married for nearly 20 years, and she and her husband are the proud parents of two sons.
With more than 40 years in the food service industry, Ron brings a high level of professionalism and expertise to Royal Oaks Manor. He has a Bachelor's in economics and a Master's of Business Administration. Ron previously taught restaurant management for three years at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. He also spent 14 years operating his family's restaurant, the Los Feliz Inn, and has worked in Beverly Hills and Hawaii. He and his wife have three daughters and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Ron enjoys cooking, sailing and gardening.
From joining the United States Navy right out of high school to owning and operating an ice cream store, Ken has enjoyed his fair share of adventure. He has worked in facility management since the early 1980s. Ken spent 17 years at Gateway Hospital & Mental Health Center in Los Angeles overseeing safety, maintenance and facility growth. Ken and his wife have four children and six grandchildren. He enjoys being the "ultimate do-it-yourselfer" for his family and church.
Elizabeth always has a warm smile for our residents, even as she directs the front desk, housekeeping, bookkeeping and transportation. As the Director of Resident Services, Elizabeth works closely with residents and their families to ensure that their needs and expectations are continually being met. She joined Royal Oaks Manor in 2004, and she and her husband have two children and a wonderful rescue dog.
Jose works with assisted living residents as a charge nurse at Bradbury Oaks. He is a devoted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who earned his degree from Citrus College in Glendora. Jose has been with Royal Oaks Manor since the early 1990s. His wife, Raquel, also works in nursing at Royal Oaks Manor. His brother, Bart, is an LVN working with skilled nursing residents at Bradbury Oaks. Even his daughter, Jessica, works as a server in the Royal Oaks dining room.
A member of the Royal Oaks Manor team since May 2006, Carolyn has more than 23 years of experience working in continuing care retirement communities. At Royal Oaks, she ensures a smooth admissions process for our all of our residents, who rely on Carolyn for expert advice and guidance. Carolyn earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of La Verne. She and her husband have four children and eight grandchildren.
Becky joined the Royal Oaks Manor staff in October 2007 with a background including eleven years of CCRC Marketing experience. Previously, Becky has also held the position of Director of Religious Education for churches in Canoga Park and Pasadena. Becky married Terry, the boy across the street, and they had three daughters together. Now Terry and Becky are proud grandparents of Montgomery, Chloe, and Annabelle.
Since 1990, Veronica has worked with Southern California Presbyterian Homes, the nondenominational owner and operator of Royal Oaks Manor. Previously working in home care, she joined Royal Oaks Manor in late 1999. As a Human Resource Representative, she is a true asset and friend to the rest of the staff at Royal Oaks Manor. She met her husband at SCPH, and they have two wonderful boys.
